Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and ideally have experience working with children, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorder. It is preferred that candidates have a strong interest in behavioral science and a desire to learn about Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is highly desirable, and the company will provide training to become certified.
The Behavior Technician will work one-on-one with children with Autism to implement behavior intervention plans developed and overseen by Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). They will utilize teaching procedures based on science to help children acquire new skills, create motivating learning environments, and collect data related to client progress. The role involves providing feedback to the BCBA, participating in clinical research, and building a behavior analytic portfolio.
