Requirements

  • Licensed Cosmetology/Esthetician license (must display current and active license during all working hours as mandated by the state)
  • Successfully pass assessments of proficiency before performing services in store

Responsibilities

  • Seek out customers to ensure world-class beauty advisor experience and provide personalized sales service based on needs
  • Perform productive upselling, suggestive selling, and maneuver conversations to generate sales
  • Engage all customers with CVS services, Beauty Club programs, in-store events, and promotions to close sales of products and services
  • Represent CVS and partner brands, upholding highest standards of service
  • Provide ear-piercing services and all other applicable paid beauty services offered in the location
  • Educate customers by demonstrating proper product usage, highlighting features and benefits to drive purchase conversion
  • Manage time effectively between consultations, scheduled services, and walk-in clients
  • Create and maintain product displays, special promotional materials, and keep assigned area well-stocked, well-merchandised, clean, and compliant with hygiene standards
  • Ensure execution of CVS sanitation and hazardous waste disposal policies in a timely and compliant manner
  • Participate in and represent CVS at sales programs and/or events
