Requirements

Licensed Cosmetology/Esthetician (must display current and active license during all working hours as mandated by the state)
Passionate about the beauty industry and customer experience
Sales-oriented with skills in personalized sales service, upselling, suggestive selling, and verbal skills to generate sales
Ability to provide ear-piercing services in all stores and perform all other applicable services offered in any location worked
Successfully pass assessments of proficiency before performing services in store
Knowledge of latest beauty trends, techniques, product knowledge, and brand expertise
Professional appearance in compliance with company policies and guidelines

Responsibilities

Seek out customers to ensure a world-class beauty advisor experience
Provide personalized sales service based on customer needs, including productive upselling, suggestive selling, and stimulating conversation to generate sales
Answer customer questions in detail with product knowledge to maximize sales basket size
Engage customers with CVS services, Beauty Club programs, in-store events, and promotions to close sales of products and services
Represent CVS and partner brands, upholding the highest standards of service
Perform paid beauty services, including ear-piercing and all other applicable services
Educate customers by demonstrating proper product usage, highlighting features and benefits to drive purchase conversion
Manage time effectively between consultations, scheduled services, and walk-in clients
Create and maintain product displays, special promotional materials, and ensure assigned area is well-stocked, well-merchandised, clean, and compliant with hygiene standards
Participate in and represent CVS at sales programs and/or events
Ensure execution of CVS sanitation and hazardous waste disposal policies
Complete ongoing sales, brand, and paid service execution training with CVS and service partners
Stay plugged-in to latest beauty trends and techniques as a beauty enthusiast
