Requirements

Licensed Cosmetology/Esthetician (must display current and active license during all working hours)
Passionate about the beauty industry and customer experience
Sales-oriented with strong verbal skills for upselling, suggestive selling, and generating sales
Ability to provide ear-piercing services and all other applicable paid beauty services offered in the location
Successfully pass assessments of proficiency before performing services
Knowledge of latest beauty trends, techniques, product knowledge, and brand expertise
Ability to manage time effectively between consultations, scheduled services, and walk-in clients

Responsibilities

Seek out customers to provide a world-class beauty advisor experience with personalized sales service
Perform productive upselling, suggestive selling, and engage customers in conversations to stimulate sales
Answer customer questions in detail, educate on product usage, features, and benefits to drive purchases
Provide various paid beauty services, including ear-piercing, and represent CVS and partner brands
Engage customers with CVS services, Beauty Club programs, in-store events, and promotions to close sales
Create and maintain product displays, promotional materials, and keep assigned area well-stocked, merchandised, clean, and compliant with hygiene/sanitation standards
Ensure compliance with CVS sanitation, hazardous waste disposal policies, and professional appearance guidelines
Participate in sales programs, events, and complete ongoing training in sales, brands, and services
Maintain proficiency in latest beauty trends and techniques as a beauty expert
