Requirements

  • Licensed Cosmetology/Esthetician (must display current and active license during all working hours as mandated by the state)
  • Passionate about the beauty industry and customer experience
  • Sales-oriented with strong verbal skills for upselling, suggestive selling, and generating sales
  • Ability to provide ear-piercing services and all other applicable beauty services offered in the location
  • Successfully pass assessments of proficiency before performing services
  • Knowledge of latest beauty trends, techniques, and product usage
  • Professional appearance in compliance with company policies

Responsibilities

  • Seek out customers to provide world-class beauty advisor experience and personalized sales service
  • Perform paid beauty services, including ear-piercing, consultations, and demonstrations of product usage
  • Educate customers on product features, benefits, trends, and techniques to drive sales
  • Engage customers with CVS services, Beauty Club programs, in-store events, and promotions
  • Represent CVS and partner brands upholding highest service standards
  • Create and maintain product displays, promotional materials, and a clean, well-stocked, compliant area
  • Manage time effectively between consultations, scheduled services, and walk-ins
  • Ensure compliance with CVS sanitation, hazardous waste disposal, and hygiene standards
  • Complete ongoing sales, brand, and service training timely
  • Participate in and represent CVS at sales programs and events
