Responsibilities

  • Seek out customers in the beauty zone to provide personalized sales service based on their needs, including upselling, suggestive selling, and follow-up to build lasting relationships
  • Engage in conversation with each customer entering the beauty zone, listen sensitively to their needs, and provide specialized sales advice
  • Educate customers on product usage, benefits, and leverage the CVS beauty monthly sampling program to build relationships
  • Participate in and represent company sales programs, events, CVS Beauty Club programs, promotions, and invite customers to in-store events to close sales
  • Create and maintain product displays, end caps, and other beauty-specific promotional materials supporting key brands, corporate initiatives, and local advertising
  • Maintain a clean, well-stocked, well-merchandised beauty zone compliant with hygiene standards for a positive shopping experience
  • Ensure compliance with CVS tester sanitation, hazardous waste disposal, and tool cleansing policies
  • Execute the established sales plan by meeting sales budgets, tracking progress, and beating prior sales goals
  • Participate in sales training meetings, conference calls on programs, promotions, new items, brand launches, sales goals, and customer care
  • Stay current on sales, product knowledge, and selling skills through ongoing training and educational programs per company policies
