Responsibilities

  • Seek out customers in the beauty zone to provide personalized sales service based on needs, effective upselling, suggestive selling, and follow-up to build lasting relationships
  • Engage in conversation with each customer entering the beauty zone, listen sensitively to their needs, and provide specialized sales advice
  • Use verbal skills confidently to generate sales and stimulate different thought processes in customers
  • Answer customer questions in detail with product knowledge to produce the largest sales basket possible
  • Educate customers on how products address their needs, proper usage, benefits, and leverage CVS beauty monthly sampling program to build relationships
  • Participate in and represent company sales programs or events to positively impact business
  • Discuss CVS Beauty Club programs, invite customers to in-store events, and explain promotions to close sales
  • Create and maintain product displays, end caps, and beauty-specific promotional materials supporting key brands, corporate initiatives, and local advertising
  • Maintain a beautiful, clean, well-stocked, and well-merchandised beauty zone compliant with hygiene standards
  • Execute CVS tester sanitation, hazardous waste disposal, and tool cleansing policies in a timely and compliant manner
  • Complete initial 30/60/90-day onboarding training and ongoing training/educational programs to keep sales, product knowledge, and selling skills current, per company policies
  • Execute the established sales plan by meeting sales budgets and tracking progress
  • Participate in sales training meetings and conference calls on programs, promotions, new items, brand launches, sales goals, and customer care
  • Compete to beat prior sales goals and maximize sales budget
