Responsibilities
Answer questions and recommend bakery items to members
Answer member calls and take special orders
Proof and bake all unfinished bakery goods following product handling info and using equipment
Use bakery production charts to guide production, display needs, and gather products for next day
Package freshly baked goods including cookies, Danish pastries, muffins, rolls, breads, pies, cakes, and other items
Unpack bakery goods from freezer and display proper amounts based on production chart recommendations, including safe handling/storage
Decorate special order or case products
Rotate and store bakery products following food safety, freshness, and product handling policies/procedures
Receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments
Maintain all cleaning and safety standards in the bakery department
Carry out job functions as assigned, support policies/procedures, escalate concerns, deliver service excellence, and achieve GOLD club standards (e.g., stocked items, promotional plans, clean/organized, grand opening look)
