Requirements

Candidates should possess 3+ years of experience in using Java under a professional environment, or demonstrate excellent skills in generalized programming languages such as Scala, Python, and Go. They should have a strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming, along with in-depth knowledge of concurrency and distributed computing. A degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience in SaaS platform development, is required. Fluency in English or Business of English is also necessary, with Japanese language ability being a plus.

Responsibilities

The Backend Engineer will be responsible for designing large-scale systems with high complexity to support high throughput applications, leveraging infrastructure to solve these problems. They will develop tools and contribute to open source initiatives, adopt problem-solving as a way of life by identifying root causes, and provide support for the code they write in production.
