Requirements
Candidates should possess a computer science degree or equivalent experience, with a solid understanding of distributed systems, scalability, RESTful patterns, and multithreading concepts. Proficiency in building and scaling production services using Go, Python, Java, or C# is required, along with a track record of leading projects to on-time delivery. Familiarity with AWS, Cassandra, Kafka, ElasticSearch, Redis, Grafana, Docker, and Kubernetes, as well as experience in cybersecurity, are considered advantageous.
Responsibilities
The Backend Cloud Engineer III will develop Go-based microservices and RESTful APIs for cyber attack detection and customer workflows, taking end-to-end ownership of project delivery. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews, and continuously improve architecture, user experience, performance, and stability. Responsibilities also include ensuring quality through engineering best practices, utilizing Kafka, Redis, and various data storage solutions, and providing operational support for production services.
