Requirements

Candidates should have 5+ years of experience as a Back-End Engineer, knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker, experience with Node.js, Postgres/Mysql, RabbitMq/Nats/Kafka, and experience with Infrastructure, observability/monitoring tools. Strong system design and problem-solving skills, experience in building CI/CD pipelines, and experience building Internal Developer Platforms and tooling are required.

Responsibilities

The Back-End Engineer will enforce standards and best practices, create tooling, maintain internal libraries, provide architectural guidance, and own some high-loaded core services, responding to production incidents when needed. They will also work on the edge between DevOps and engineering, collaborating with 10+ teams and tackling complex challenges related to the ‘unknown’ while ensuring Deel engineering growth and building a platform for product teams to ship business value faster.
