Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise strategy for drug safety technology systems and pharmacovigilance capabilities, including continuous modernization to meet regulatory and business needs
  • Drive service management transformation utilizing the Global Capability Center in India, including assessing/simplifying workflows, insourcing, and adopting automation/AI
  • Provide strategic direction, oversight, and execution for R&D technology teams in Asia (China, Japan, Singapore), ensuring harmonization with global innovation
  • Champion AI and advanced analytics integration across patient safety, pharmacovigilance, service management, and Asia R&D workflows and platforms
  • Define and execute multi-year technology strategies for patient safety, Asia R&D, and related domains aligned with corporate objectives and R&D priorities
  • Partner with senior R&D and business leaders to transform technology enabling patient safety and operational efficiency
  • Lead a high-performing global team with accountability across the US and key Asian markets
  • Balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution to deliver productivity, quality, speed improvements, and faster/safer delivery of medicines
