Requirements

  • Minimum of 12 years of digital marketing experience, with a focus on marketing operations, analytics and martech
  • Strong technical knowledge of MarTech tools and platforms, including Adobe MarTech stack, Google Marketing Cloud, Salesforce and Marketo
  • Strong knowledge of and experience building marketing analytics and reporting tools
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing multiple teams and driving team performance
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and within a large, matrixed organization
  • Ability to work across time zones as part of a multi-cultural and geographically dispersed team
  • Passionate about achieving positive results for the business
  • Compelling storyteller with the ability to communicate business value through data to senior management and teammates
  • Experience in accelerating growth in a fast-moving, fluid environment where user experience/customer expectations are changing rapidly
  • Experience in successfully managing senior leadership interactions

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of annual and long range plans to enhance the operational efficiency and impact of CAP Marketing in support of CAP business objectives
  • Collaborate closely with fellow CAP Marketing senior leadership and other marketing colleagues to understand business line marketing needs and objectives to inform organizational design, capacity and technology planning and operational strategies
  • Develop strong collaborative partnerships with Enterprise Digital and Technology colleagues to maximize CAP Marketing leverage through enterprise-wide martech platforms, data and other capabilities
  • Develop strategies and tactics for harmonizing appropriate CAP Marketing-wide functions including campaign execution, martech stack development and adoption and oversee the creation of a unified CAP Marketing metrics and reporting platform
  • Work closely with CAP Marketing leadership to ensure executive level reporting suits the needs of individual business lines as well as broader CAP while surfacing actionable insights that can fuel ongoing marketing optimization, including providing the insights necessary for monthly or quarterly business reviews
  • Develop and manage relevant budgets that reflect CAP Marketing’s long term strategic needs
  • Enable operational activities, workshops, training/learning sessions, forums, and opportunities to keep the larger CAP Marketing team abreast of digital marketing and technological advancements
  • Nurture constructive, collegial relationships with leadership across Marketing, the business and the Enterprise to align strategies, martech investments and processes for maximum leverage and efficiency
  • Communicate progress within and beyond CAP Marketing with clarity, consistency and transparency to ensure strong awareness and understanding of the value we deliver and to help marketers understand how their work is aligned with the business
  • Lead a global team to maximize operational and technological leverage while nurturing talent with a focus on growth and accountability
