Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with a minimum of 7 years of experience in software testing and automation, specifically within a cloud environment. Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing and mentoring a team of engineers, is essential. Strong understanding of DevOps principles and experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines are required.
As the Automation Team Lead, you will lead, train, and motivate a team of three automation engineers, overseeing the technical roadmap and strategy for automation within the Cortex Platform QA group. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on automated testing efforts, collaborating with software development managers and other stakeholders to drive automation coverage and integration with DevOps practices. Additionally, you will conduct code reviews, participate in recruiting and personal development, and provide training and mentorship to the team members.
