The Automation Software Engineer will lead the technical development of manufacturing automation initiatives, focusing on sustaining and improving Dandy's 3D scanning technology platform. This role involves taking ownership of software development for 3D scanning projects, identifying and solving gaps in current technology, and developing the software platform for a Proof of Concept 3D scanning machine. Responsibilities also include engaging with vendors to ensure machine specifications are met, supervising and reporting on automated system metrics like OEE and yield, and driving improvement programs.
