Position Overview

Responsibilities

  • Assist Audit Support leader with documenting, tracking, and reporting of audit and due diligence requests performed on Upgrade.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to coordinate the gathering of required documentation for audits and ensure completeness of responses.
  • Follow-up with stakeholders to ensure timely response to audit requests and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Assist with a variety of activities related to Audit Support including; calendar management, audit tracking, document gathering, and response quality review.
  • Help maintain our centralized document management system for audit response materials, standardized responses, and other Enterprise Risk functions.
  • Assist with supporting annual SOC1, SOC2, and compliance audits performed by third parties on Upgrade.
  • Fulfill requests from internal stakeholders, vendors, and partners for information and documents that relate to Upgrade’s risk management activities.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience at a financial services or technology firm.
  • 2+ years of experience in audit, risk/compliance, or IT role.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and prioritize critical issues.
  • Sense of ownership and responsibility towards problem solving.
