Responsibilities

The Audience Growth Strategist will create and execute newsroom strategies to increase sessions, users, and engagement, focusing on improving visibility in Google Discover, Google Search, and Google News. Responsibilities include performing in-depth competitive analysis, growing visibility in Google's AI Mode/Overviews, building content strategies with topic ideas, pre-planning for future events, and suggesting new coverage areas to reach new audiences. The role also involves making proactive recommendations on trending topics, delivering training to newsroom teams on SEO and content best practices, and ensuring all content adheres to editorial guidelines and brand standards.
