Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer applications, or similar background with exposure to interface management
Experience with operating systems: Windows, Unix
Scripting and SQL skills
Healthcare domain experience
HL7 working knowledge and experience with HL7 interface protocols
Proven experience with interface engines (e.g., AIE, Rhapsody, Elink, Ensemble, HIE)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with techno-functional balance
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with executives, managers, SMEs, vendors, and onsite staff
Ability to work in a friendly team environment with cross-functional leads
Flexible and adaptable to 24x7 rotational environment with dynamic situations
Self-motivated with ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities

Responsibilities

Provide L1 & L2 support and act as primary conductor for all vendor direct support needs
Support maintenance of existing interfaces for client facilities
Learn system functionality and workflow in depth
Troubleshoot HIS inbound and outbound interfaces
Identify complex issues and take ownership following proper escalation procedures
Adhere to SLAs, document, and maintain current workflows
Provide daily metrics related to support, maintenance, and outages as directed by leads
Attend staff meetings or other mandatory training as enrolled by leads
