Requirements
- US-licensed physician (MD or DO) with active medical registration
- Ideally Primary Care Physician but other specialities welcome
- 5+ years of clinical experience, ideally with significant research background
- Strong understanding and experience site-based in commercial (CRO, biotech, pharmaceutical) or academic settings
- Hands-on experience with clinical trial execution, protocol implementation, and regulatory requirements
- Knowledgeable in Good Clinical Practice (GCP), ICH guidelines, and FDA regulations
- Experience with medical monitoring, safety oversight, and adverse event assessment
- Comfortable serving as a Principal Investigator (PI) for US-regulated trials
- Strong business acumen and ability to build relationships with trial sites and sponsors
- Understanding of technology used in clinical trials and interest in leveraging technology
- Entrepreneurial, driven, and comfortable with delegation
Responsibilities
- Provide medical monitoring and safety oversight for the clinical trial portfolio
- Review adverse events, safety data, and protocol deviations
- Make informed medical decisions regarding participant safety and study continuation
- Support regulatory approvals, IRB submissions, and protocol compliance
- Serve as Principal Investigator for select US-regulated trials
- Support bid development and defense activities with medical input
