US-licensed physician (MD or DO) with active medical registration
Ideally Primary Care Physician but other specialities welcome
5+ years of clinical experience, ideally with significant research background
Strong understanding and experience site-based in commercial (CRO, biotech, pharmaceutical) or academic settings
Hands-on experience with clinical trial execution, protocol implementation, and regulatory requirements
Knowledgeable in Good Clinical Practice (GCP), ICH guidelines, and FDA regulations
Experience with medical monitoring, safety oversight, and adverse event assessment
Comfortable serving as a Principal Investigator (PI) for US-regulated trials
Strong business acumen and ability to build relationships with trial sites and sponsors
Understanding of technology used in clinical trials and interest in leveraging technology
Entrepreneurial, driven, and comfortable with delegation

Responsibilities

Provide medical monitoring and safety oversight for the clinical trial portfolio
Review adverse events, safety data, and protocol deviations
Make informed medical decisions regarding participant safety and study continuation
Support regulatory approvals, IRB submissions, and protocol compliance
Serve as Principal Investigator for select US-regulated trials
Support bid development and defense activities with medical input
