Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Typically, 5+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role (audit experience is a plus)
  • Typically experienced in more than one finance function
  • Experience in using SAP (is a plus)
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis

Responsibilities

  • Oversee month-end closing, journal postings and reconciliations
  • Provides complex, financial analysis for a financial function or a business
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with business leaders to guide and influence decision-making
  • Provides analytics to business initiatives, typically representing a sub-function within finance for a particular business
  • Supports policy and process improvement and identifies opportunities
  • Identifies issues and proposes solutions
  • Represents finance on cross-functional teams
  • Prepares and reviews financial information related to indirect tax matters (VAT, WHT)
  • Prepares and reviews local financial statement and any other related accounting compliance work
  • Provides mentoring and guidance to analysts
