Requirements

Experienced lawyer with knowledge of legal workflows and complicated agreements
Passion for building AI-forward solutions, particularly generative AI and legal tech products
Ability to reside within reasonable commuting distance of Austin, Boston, Chicago, Denver, New Jersey, New York City, Philadelphia, Raleigh, or Toronto (requires on-site presence at least three days per week)
Interest in transitioning legal expertise to product development and engineering collaboration

Responsibilities

Work on legal software products, such as using products to find information clients seek in documents
Experiment with prompting LLMs from within products
Teach products like Kira by highlighting information in diverse document sets to enable machine learning pattern recognition for new documents
Collaborate with product/engineering/design teams to ensure new features are defined and completed with proper legal workflows in mind
Help set the vision for new legal tech products and features within Kira and other Litera products
Experiment and test Generative AI to optimize product development
