Requirements

  • Experienced lawyer with knowledge of legal workflows and complicated agreements
  • Passion for building AI-forward solutions, particularly generative AI and legal tech products
  • Ability to reside within reasonable commuting distance of Austin, Boston, Chicago, Denver, New Jersey, New York City, Philadelphia, Raleigh, or Toronto (requires on-site presence at least three days per week)
  • Interest in transitioning legal expertise to product development and engineering collaboration

Responsibilities

  • Work on legal software products, such as using products to find information clients seek in documents
  • Experiment with prompting LLMs from within products
  • Teach products like Kira by highlighting information in diverse document sets to enable machine learning pattern recognition for new documents
  • Collaborate with product/engineering/design teams to ensure new features are defined and completed with proper legal workflows in mind
  • Help set the vision for new legal tech products and features within Kira and other Litera products
  • Experiment and test Generative AI to optimize product development
