Candidates must possess a High School diploma or equivalent, along with relevant vocational qualifications and at least one year of comparable experience. A strong understanding of local and global import/export regulations is essential, as is specific training in clinical supply. Familiarity with clinical supply chain terminology, practices, and principles, along with strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills in English, are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word is also necessary.
The Associate Import/Export Coordinator is responsible for planning and executing import and export activities for assigned studies, including preparing documentation for import license submissions and coordinating transactions through delivery. This role involves ensuring compliance with PPD, client, and regulatory requirements, developing import/export plans for projects, and performing other logistical and administrative tasks as needed. The coordinator will also track regulatory changes, interact daily with vendors like custom brokers and forwarders, maintain import/export files, and provide recommendations on import/export issues.
