  • High School diploma required
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Possess valid driver's license in the state of residence with a good driving record (operate company vehicle while abiding by company policy)
  • Basic electronic and mechanical aptitude
  • Willingness and ability to work an extended work week including nights and weekends at times
  • Physical ability to move, set up, and demonstrate equipment weighing up to 75 pounds
  • Physical ability to reach, push, or pull to accomplish job duties
  • Physical ability to perform prolonged periods of stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, sitting, standing, and/or crawling
  • Coordination of eye, hand, and foot movement with ability to grasp by hand
  • Ability to handle various materials (e.g., durcot fabric, nylon fabric, Velcro, zippers, product components of rubber, metals, and coated products)
  • Ability to follow and explain detailed instructions, operation manuals, troubleshooting, and inspection procedures
  • Visual and auditory discrimination/memory, reading ability, and memory retention
  • Ability to diagnose issues and systematically solve problems
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills (customer interactions, stress management, conflict management)
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independence when applying professional expertise
  • Written and oral communication skills, including talking in group meeting settings
  • Ability to work with autonomy, managing time and seeing tasks through to completion with minimal supervision
  • Ability to prioritize work and keep detailed and accurate records

Responsibilities

  • Support a service territory including repair and delivery of equipment
  • Perform all required quality control checks and preventative maintenance, global hold repairs, and wireless upgrades
  • Utilize computer software to complete documentation, order parts, reference training materials, etc., with great attention to detail
  • Present the highest level of customer etiquette in support of the sales team
  • Promote increased equipment and service usage by establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships
  • Work mostly independently while engaging in opportunities to support and collaborate with teammates, including assisting on Field Service projects and initiatives
  • Adhere to and maintain excellent Field Service metrics (e.g., hours and overtime accountability, inventory accuracy, cadence of documentation)
