Responsibilities

  • Perform independent and/or supervised on-site installations, preventive maintenance, and repairs of equipment
  • Maintain customer satisfaction and provide both phone and on-site customer support
  • Verify and approve the operational quality of Stryker systems and equipment
  • Exercise sound judgment and decision making within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods/techniques for obtaining solutions
  • Independently manage work calendar and travel schedule
  • Serve as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters
  • Achieve and maintain a high level of performance to meet and exceed company’s financial goals and performance metrics
  • Collaborate with senior-level Field Service Representatives and Stryker Sales teams
  • Manage and control field inventory, tools, test equipment, technical documentation, and other assigned equipment
  • Prepare and submit applicable field service documentation (e.g., field service reports, expense reports, service checklists) in a complete, accurate, and timely manner
  • Travel and assist in other Field Service team members' territories
  • Instruct/train customers on technical operation and maintenance of equipment
  • Perform software and hardware upgrades/updates
  • Handle installation and maintenance of equipment at conventions, road shows, cadaver labs, or seminars
