Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a healthcare-related field, and have more than five years of experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare environment, including a history of successful negotiation at a senior level. Market Access and Commercial Pharmaceutical experience, along with FMCG experience (Sales/Marketing/Key Account management), are required. Training in negotiation skills is an advantage.
The Associate Director will manage senior relationships with various suppliers to deliver agreed-upon data, ensuring supplier data quality meets standards and established expectations. They will consult with suppliers to provide and sell-back insights gained from supplied content, negotiate and renegotiate data supplier contracts, investigate and source potential new data suppliers, implement feedback services to barter against fees, manage supplier payments, and manage the Data supply and Pharmacy Teams. Additionally, they will support internal commercial teams, develop strategy for expanding contract scope, lead negotiations in renewing multi-year contracts, provide business analytical insights to suppliers, and work with pharma clients to develop understanding of new data requirements.
