  • Ability to pilot new approaches, launch communities of practice, and develop playbooks
  • Leadership in training initiatives to build strategic thinking capabilities

Responsibilities

  • Align decision support activities with SIS and PSTS strategic priorities, governance needs, and planning cycles
  • Facilitate coordination and best practice sharing across Decision Support Leads (DSLs) for consistency and impact
  • Serve as a strategic connector between DSLs, BI, Finance, and enterprise functions
  • Develop frameworks for portfolio insights to inform investment decisions, resource allocation, and prioritization
  • Translate complex scientific, operational, and financial data into clear, actionable narratives for senior leadership
  • Champion foresight tools and predictive analytics to anticipate risks and opportunities across the portfolio
  • Embed decision support into governance forums such as P3R, Deep Dives, and Functional Reviews
  • Create decision-making frameworks, prioritization matrices, and scenario planning tools
  • Partner with Finance and Scientific Strategy leads to align insights with resource and investment decisions
  • Pilot new approaches to decision support, including predictive analytics and impact modeling
  • Launch a Decision Support Community of Practice and develop a DSL Playbook
  • Lead training initiatives to build strategic thinking capabilities
