Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
Extensive experience (12+ years) in quality assurance, with a focus on automation and team leadership in a managerial role
Strong proficiency in programming languages (Java, Python, C#, JavaScript) and expertise in automation tools and frameworks
Deep understanding of CI/CD processes, API testing, and Agile methodologies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders effectively
Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving

Responsibilities

Provide advanced programming guidance in languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript, helping team members develop effective automation scripts
Evaluate and implement automation tools like Selenium and Playwright, ensuring the adoption of best practices and the integration of new tools as needed
Oversee the implementation of testing frameworks and methodologies (e.g., BDD, TDD) to ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices
Lead the implementation of CI/CD processes, promoting automation in deployment pipelines to enhance efficiency and reliability
Ensure comprehensive application functionality coverage through strong API testing skills using tools like Postman or RestAssured
Leverage knowledge of AI tools and machine learning applications to enhance testing processes and drive innovation within the QA team
Foster effective communication within the team and across cross-functional teams, articulating strategies and reporting findings clearly
Utilize strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to address challenges and make informed decisions that positively impact the QA process
Engage with stakeholders at various levels to ensure alignment and support for QA initiatives, advocating for quality assurance within the organization
Maintain a commitment to quality with a keen eye for detail, ensuring high testing standards are met consistently
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance automation processes and team efficiency, demonstrating a commitment to growth and development
