Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience leading a distributed team of engineers in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Experience hiring, training, and mentoring high performing SDETs
  • Hands-on experience establishing testing strategy and defining quality metrics for products that will be deployed in both SaaS as well as customer managed environments
  • Experience in testing high performance, scalable distributed systems; ability to analyze and scope technical requirements, and effectively prioritize deliverables
  • BS CS/EE or equivalent practical experience with 10+ years of industry experience, including 4+ years in a technical leadership role

Responsibilities

  • Coach, mentor and grow a cross-functional, remote-first team of exceptional SDETs for all Cribl products
  • Establish testing best practices and be the product owner for how we test for real-world customer scenarios and end-to-end tests for all our products
  • Lead the team in implementing projects from idea formulation, design, implementation, and testing
  • Foster a "customer first" mindset by aligning the team toward outcomes that will delight our customers - both internal and external
  • Establish a strong partnership with product management and engineering managers to refine, prioritize and execute on a roadmap that ensures quality standards are met
