Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree; Post-graduate degree or MBA preferred. Business, Finance or Medical background preferred
  • 7+ years of work experience in Brand Marketing, NPP, Medical, PRA or Finance in pharmaceutical industry
  • Analytics and/or forecasting experience
  • Deep understanding of science, coupled with a strong business acumen and analytical skills
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Consistent demonstration of the leadership behaviors and ability to develop credibility in a network that spans a wide variety of functions and geographies
  • Strong communication skills and ability to establish effective working relationships across cultures, geographies and functions
  • Strong problem-solving skills; able to anticipate and recognize systemic problems, diagnose root causes and identify corrective actions that will prevent recurrence
  • Excellent self-management skills; able to independently manage workload, set personal priorities and adjust as needed

Responsibilities

  • Support the NPP leader collaborating closely with the Innovation Readiness team for the responsible TA at early stage, focusing on the responsible TA to integrate IR into dive and CD review
  • Conduct assessments of global portfolio assets and evaluate incoming business development deals, including providing input to early-stage opportunity assessments and long-range forecasts
  • Use insights from syndicated reports and desktop research to provide strategic input to the decision-making, ensuring strong assumptions are made regarding market needs, competition, and potential product success
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to create business cases for new products
  • Contribute to the preparation of pre-launch plans, ensuring a smooth transition from development to commercialization
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Market Research, to design and implement primary market research studies that provide insights into disease areas, competitive markets, and the needs of physicians and patients
  • Support the NPP leader to lead the launch readiness activities from commercial perspective, ensuring that all functional areas are aligned and prepared for a successful product launch
  • Take ownership of the strategic planning process for the BU or TA, ensuring alignment with broader company goals
  • Play a key role in the brand development for critical launch brands for the responsible BU
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with global and local stakeholders, including the clinical project management team, BU marketing directors, and senior leadership
  • Work closely with global stakeholders to ensure the strategic direction for the BU or TA is aligned and integrated across different regions and departments, with a strong focus on anticipating and meeting key stakeholder needs
