Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in AAA game development, with a strong background in production or similar role
  • Experience coordinating across art, design, engineering, and external development teams to ensure smooth execution of business priorities and operational goals
  • Experience tracking complex projects and providing insight and influence into how to deliver more effectively and mitigate risks
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail
  • Strong foundation of software development lifecycle and operational execution
  • Familiarity with outsourcing/ExDev workflows and vendor management
  • Ability to work across time zones and cultures, with a global mindset
  • Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and strong proficiency in English required for effective communication with local and global teams

Responsibilities

  • Own business results of all the co-development initiatives and be responsible for timely delivery and positive financial results
  • Drive production efforts for co-development initiatives with external partners
  • Define and maintain project roadmaps, track progress against milestones and proactively identify risks, blockers, and dependencies, planning mitigations as needed
  • Collaborate with central development teams to align development pipelines and priorities
  • Standardize process and status reporting methodologies, including key performance indicators (KPIs), to track progress, forecast milestones, and provide senior leadership with ongoing visibility into results
  • Provide leadership, support and guidance to direct or indirect teams, managing performance effectively and fostering a positive, collaborative work culture
  • Represent China-based initiatives in global planning and ensure regional needs are integrated into product strategy
  • Facilitate effective communication and coordination across disciplines, ensuring progress, alignment, accountability, and regular updates on key projects and goals
