Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Preferred: Master’s degree (e.g., MBA or HR Management) or relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CIPD, PHR/SPHR)
  • 8–10+ years of progressive HR operations experience/shared service experience
  • Experience managing global teams and working across multiple regions/time zones
  • Proven track record in process optimization, technology implementation, and service delivery
  • Strong understanding of HR systems (e.g., Workday, Beeline, Zendesk, ChatNow)
  • Global HR knowledge: Understanding of employment laws, labor relations, and compliance across different countries
  • Understanding of global HR structure (COE’s, SBP’s, Local HR remit) and HRS role
  • Strategic thinking to align HR operations with global business goals and drive transformation (e.g., AI and automation agenda)
  • Stakeholder management skills to influence senior HR leaders and manage cross-functional relationships in matrixed organizations
  • Proven change leadership across geographies, including process redesign, system implementations, and project implementations
  • Team leadership experience with diverse HR professionals, focusing on performance elevation, collaboration, and service delivery
  • Expertise in process optimization (e.g., onboarding, payroll, benefits, compliance)
  • Technology & systems savvy with HRIS platforms, data analytics, and automation tools
  • Strong grasp of risk & compliance management (e.g., GDPR, data privacy, audit readiness, internal controls)
  • Cross-cultural agility to work effectively across cultures while maintaining global consistency
  • Clear, diplomatic, and persuasive communication skills across all levels and regions
  • Data-driven decision making with ability to interpret HR metrics, identify trends
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex operational challenges across borders

Responsibilities

  • Represent global HR knowledge (employment laws, labor relations, compliance) in strategic discussions
  • Understand and leverage global HR structure to add value as HRS
  • Align HR operations with global business goals and drive transformation initiatives, including aggressive AI and automation agenda, right-sizing, and upskilling HRS org
  • Influence senior HR leaders, manage cross-functional relationships, and navigate matrixed organizations
  • Lead change across geographies, including process redesign/simplification, system implementations, and project implementations
  • Lead diverse team of HR professionals, building skills with focus on performance elevation, collaboration, and strong service delivery
  • Active member of HRS Lead Team (LT), driving and shaping future beyond APAC; thought partner on new ideas, solutions, improved experiences, external benchmarking, and best practices
  • Streamline HR processes (e.g., onboarding, payroll, benefits, compliance) for efficiency and scalability
  • Leverage technology & systems (e.g., Workday, Beeline, Zendesk, ChatNow), data analytics, and automation for operational excellence
  • Manage risk & compliance, including data privacy (e.g., GDPR), audit readiness, and internal controls
