Ability to manage relationships with first line leaders and communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including Regulators and Senior Management
Skills in preparing risk-based reports and materials focusing on analytical risks and trends

Responsibilities

Independently validating and monitoring the appropriateness of CI’s and S1’s analytic products and their related processes
Evaluating that new/revised methodologies and models are fit for purpose, the defensibility of analyses (including analytic judgement), evidence supporting them, transparency of published rationales, and appropriate use of underlying models
Managing relationships with first line leaders and serving as an ambassador of ARQ’s views, positions, and messages to stakeholders (including Regulators, Senior Management, SPGI Divisions, and Corporate Risk and Compliance functions)
Leading/contributing to the team’s development and maintenance of Analytic Platforms/visualizations, including design and implementation to enhance analytic capabilities and enable insights
Ensuring ongoing development and maintenance of metrics for CI and S1’s portfolio
Facilitating emerging risk identification and the development of remedies
Providing analytical insights and collaborating with the first line on holistic risk mitigation through an integrated framework and goal alignment, including insights and advice on best practices and observations across the portfolio
Designing and performing issue-specific tests related to various aspects of the analytical process
Preparing Risk Based Reports and materials focusing on key systemic analytically relevant risks and trends, and assisting with Board materials as requested
Researching external market data and synthesizing results to identify key trends and risks
