Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in financial services with exposure to business, middle office, or operations functions or experience in Agile Product management with a focus on ideation and backlog grooming
  • Solid understanding of asset and risk management and financial instrument modelling across a reasonable subset of fixed income, equities, derivatives, and alternatives
  • Ability to flexibly balance priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong financial and quantitative abilities with attention to detail
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills with ability to convey complex concepts simply and clearly to stakeholders
  • Knowledge of data modelling and ETL techniques (a plus)
  • Exposure to agile methodology, data management, or service management (a plus)
  • Exposure to asset management systems, preferably Aladdin (a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Support the intake of product ideas, assessing ideas within the defined SLAs
  • Gather requirements and define user stories and acceptance criteria through collaboration with Engineering, in line with Agile best-practices
  • Manage the product backlog ensuring it hits KPI targets
  • Work with stakeholders including Data Stewards and the Program team to understand business priorities to correctly sequence development
  • Actively promote the product roadmap to partners, articulating the benefits and key results we are delivering
  • Provide periodic updates on the progress and outcomes of each PI to the Product team highlighting wins, risks and blockers
