Requirements

Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of accounting experience and a strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Experience with Netsuite and in a public company environment are considered a plus. The ideal candidate is team-oriented, highly motivated, possesses a strong work ethic, and can thrive in a high-growth environment while independently managing work and solving problems.

Responsibilities

The Associate Accountant will execute monthly accounting close activities, including journal entries, allocations, accruals, adjustments, and reporting. They will proactively identify and implement process improvements, analyze monthly financial results against budget and prior periods, and prepare financial status reports. The role involves collaborating cross-functionally to enhance financial processes, supporting other departments, and assisting with ad-hoc accounting projects. Additionally, the Associate Accountant will prepare documentation for external auditors, ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies, and identify opportunities for operational efficiency improvements.
