Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or related field, required
2+ years of related experience required
Familiarity with Accounting systems required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of general financial accounting
Understanding of and the ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, and accounting software

Responsibilities

Maintaining accounting record in Software
Reconciles bank accounts monthly, and addresses inquiries related to the bank accounts
Record and review month-end and annual closing journal entries for accuracy and completeness
Prepare monthly reconciliations and supporting schedules for assigned ledger accounts
Provides support with audit; gathers necessary documents and prepares and reviews schedules
Maintains knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures
Assist in direct and Indirect Tax payment and Filing
Performs other related duties as assigned
