Requirements

  • 4+ years lift or attractions experience in a leadership role
  • Strong public relations skills, experience managing emotional situations
  • Competent with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with a high level of initiative
  • Valid Ontario “G” class driver’s license

Responsibilities

  • Help set the cultural tone for creating revolutionary guest experiences while uniting the team around purpose and fun
  • Ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and procedures
  • Facilitate meaningful onboarding as well as ongoing training and development for employees
  • Plan, supervise, and coordinate the activities of Supervisors, Team Leads, and Operators
  • Oversee the daily operations and safety standards of Lifts and Attractions
  • Motivate, coach, and recognize great performance to create a transformational employee experience
  • Create and train to high standards in training, performance measures, performance evaluations, and performance feedback
  • In cooperation with the leadership team, cultivate team spirit, cooperative work ethic, and integrity
  • Continually strive for improved safety, efficiencies, and compliance to all policies, procedures, and legislated regulatory requirements (including TSSA and MOL)
  • Develop and maintain strong positive working relationships with all Blue Mountain departments and key stakeholders
  • Provide consistent, meaningful feedback and communication to all employees via departmental meetings and performance reviews
  • Assist the Manager in the recruitment and selection of new team members as well as the high-level retention of existing employees
