Requirements

Mechanical trade certification or equivalent qualification in a mechanical field
Considerable maintenance related experience in mechanical function with relevant industrial experience (airline, military, oilfield, automotive, electronic)
Extensive knowledge and expertise on hydraulic circuits and ability to troubleshoot faults
Advanced level of analytical ability to find solutions to complex technical problems
Relevant industry experience (oilfield, automotive) with excellent mechanical aptitude
Current passport holder for travel requirements
Understanding and knowledge of various industrial sectors such as fishing tools, wellbore intervention, liners, and completions (hydraulic mechanical based background)

Responsibilities

Maintains and repairs cementing equipment including, but not limited to: cementing hardware, offshore cement units and any other mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic machine as required
Maintains, repairs and prepares equipment in the workshop for offshore cement operations
Works to pre-defined procedures in line with established work practices and quality standards
Assists in incident investigations, troubleshooting, and diagnosing equipment issues
Assists in the enhancement of maintenance processes, documentation, and quality
Maintains equipment records and filing systems as part of quality control and assurance programs
Maintains assigned offshore units, cement heads, and related equipment in accordance with operating specifications
Routinely welds, paints and refurbishes equipment
Conducts mechanical inspections
May use moderately complex diagnostic equipment
Maintains records
Handles special projects, as assigned
