Work Experience or Professional Background: Mechanical/electronics/automation or related major; preference for experience in electronic assembly and testing in the medical device industry

Others: Strong quality awareness, strong hands-on ability, understanding of basic mechanical processing principles, knowledge of common hand tool usage methods, strong problem-solving ability

Responsibilities

Follow standard operating procedures (SOP) and work instructions; use manual and power tools, limited automation equipment, manufacturing aids/fixtures, lifts/cranes, and other methods in the manufacturing process for wiring, component installation, cable harnesses, instrument assembly, etc. Instrument assembler is a progressive role, learning more components, processes, and precision component assembly with experience
Inspect and verify the quality of components and finished products to ensure they meet specifications and regulatory requirements, such as FDA guidelines and ISO standards
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues or discrepancies. Collaborate with other departments like engineering, quality, excellence operations, and product development to provide feedback on product design, manufacturability, and process improvements. Work with cross-functional teams such as engineers, quality assurance, and production supervisors to ensure smooth production processes
Accurately and timely record production activities, including assembly processes, product information, material control of key parts, labeling activities, and quality rejects
Comply with company policies, procedures, and regulations, including the Quality Management System (QMS), and contribute to a culture of quality, compliance, and continuous improvement
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and comply with safety regulations to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
With proven efficiency and capability, may train other assembly personnel. Specific job functions may change. Perform other assigned duties
