Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience. Strong proficiency in SystemVerilog, C, or C++, along with experience in test planning, coverage closure, and creating reusable verification components is required. Knowledge of constrained random testing, functional coverage, and assertion-based verification is also necessary, alongside understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and familiarity with simulation tools such as VCS, IES, and debug tools like Debussy and GDB.

Responsibilities

As a member of the verification team, the ASIC Verification Engineer will understand the design and implementation of the memory subsystem, define the verification scope, develop verification infrastructure (Testbenches, BFMs, Checkers, Monitors), implement test/coverage plans, and verify the correctness of the design. The role involves collaborating with architects, designers, and software engineers across sites to achieve goals, planning and working on the strategic direction of the testbench methodology, and conducting strategic work related to memory subsystem micro-architecture, cache topologies and policies, memory management, interconnects, and/or arbiter designs.
