Requirements

  • 5+ years of work experience demonstrating impeccable craft and command of creative concepts, visual concepts, art direction, and design across a variety of projects with emphasis on digital but working knowledge of print
  • Strong digital and print creative creation skills
  • Ability to take projects from creative brief/concept to completion
  • History of translating strategic thinking into compelling, creative ideas
  • Ability to work on a range of designs within brand guidelines
  • Deep knowledge & production experience with integrated, digital, and print campaigns
  • Strong understanding and general skills around motion graphics and video
  • Proven success working in small and large, collaborative multi-functional teams across time zones and technologies
  • Experience collaborating in multicultural and global team environments (advantageous)
  • Fluency in both English and Japanese
  • Excellent Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) skills, as well as Sketch and Figma; AE and PremierePro experience a bonus
  • Passion for and inquisitive about AI and new technologies
  • Understanding and knowledge of AI tools

Responsibilities

  • Directing, reviewing, and executing digital and print work (e.g., corporate websites, campaigns, newsletters, email flyers, e-Learning modules, banner images/graphics; posters, flyers, brochures, newsletters, signage, event/campaign collateral, holiday communications)
  • Working closely with stakeholders and team (project managers, creatives, digital designers, developers, video producers) across locations (Hong Kong, Shanghai, India, US, UK) to design and produce materials for .com, mobile, banners, social, and print assets
  • Responsible for correct application of brand guidelines
  • Responsibility for the full design lifecycle from concept to execution
  • Pitching creative solutions in response to marketing strategies to internal and external stakeholders
  • Overseeing and managing the preparation of all finished files that comply with brand guidelines and output specifications
  • Creatively leading (and sometimes pushing) clients and the agency to achieve solutions that positively impact the client’s business
