Responsibilities

The Argus Database Programmer Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day configuration and maintenance of the Pharmacovigilance (PV) Safety database, ensuring compliance with SOPs, industry standards, and regulations. This includes collaborating with users to understand requirements and recommend solutions, creating custom and ad-hoc reports, and developing/validating aggregate safety reports. The role involves resolving end-user queries, supporting routine dictionary upgrades, and liaising with vendors for system upgrades and issue resolution. Additionally, responsibilities include assisting in SOP development, supporting audits, managing database changes under change control, creating new tenants, developing distribution rule configurations, and leading data migration and validation projects. The analyst will also provide programming support for safety data review, interact with project teams, review and recommend process improvements, and estimate effort for bidding activities.
