  • Knowledge of ensuring physical safety and ergonomic standards, including site walkthroughs, safety drills, and emergency response
  • Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders (employees, site leaders, property managers, vendors)
  • Ability to plan and oversee employee events and programs to foster positive workplace culture
  • Willingness to travel minimally and be based in Heredia, Costa Rica office

Responsibilities

  • Lead the smooth, efficient, and high-service-level operation of the Costa Rica office location, including managing budgets, ensuring timely preventative maintenance, handling service requests, conducting space audits, and monitoring utilization to inform occupancy planning and site leadership
  • Partner with Workday's outsource provider to guide, mentor, and train Facility Site Advisors, ensuring workplace standards and employee engagement are consistently upheld
  • Collaborate with other Workplace Operations management to align on departmental goals and field office standards
  • Act as a key liaison for construction and IT projects, providing operational feedback, coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and contractors, attending project meetings, managing new office setups (moves/adds/changes), and ensuring vendor and property management requirements are met
  • Work directly with Global Safety to ensure physical safety and ergonomic standards are met, including conducting site walkthroughs and managing site-specific safety drills and emergency response teams
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Workday employees, site leaders, property managers, and vendors
  • Plan and oversee employee events and programs to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture
  • Oversee Costa Rica and Mexico offices within the Americas Workplace portfolio, working closely with multiple departments and Site Leaders to meet company standards, maintain Workday culture, and ensure a positive employee experience
