Requirements

Candidates must possess a BA/BS or Master’s degree in Computer Science, GIS, or related interdisciplinary majors, along with experience in designing, implementing, and analyzing GIS and database solutions. Proficiency in geospatial analysis and familiarity with the ArcGIS suite of products are required. Additionally, candidates must be able to maintain and update DBMSs and must be eligible for a DOD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

The ArcGIS Systems Engineer will design and implement GIS and database solutions, conduct geospatial analysis, and maintain DBMSs. They will also work in ArcGIS Enterprise within a virtual environment, create Python tools and JavaScript applications, and manage source code using tools like GitHub. The engineer will be responsible for RESTful API design and implementation, work within an Agile environment, present technical solutions to clients, and mentor teammates while continuously improving their skills and knowledge.
