Must have skills: Network Infrastructures (strong background in enterprise routing technologies: OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, static routes; route filtering, redistribution, summarization; IP addressing, subnetting, WAN connectivity; Cisco IOS CLI, QoS, configuration standards; familiarity with Cisco Meraki; basic Splunk for log analysis; NOC tools, ticketing systems, remote troubleshooting)
Good to have skills: Cisco Viptela
Certifications: Cisco CCNP ENARSI (Enterprise Advanced Routing and Services) or Cisco CCNP ENSLD (Enterprise Network Design)
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
Analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset
Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with 24x7 operations
Strong documentation and presentation skills
Process-driven approach with attention to compliance and governance

Responsibilities

Provide Level 2 support for routing-related incidents across enterprise WAN/LAN environments
Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, and static routes
Assist in implementing routing changes, path selection policies, QoS, and configuration updates
Provide support for Cisco Viptela and Meraki
Understand hybrid connectivity topologies; maintain and troubleshoot cloud interconnectivity
Use basic Splunk searches to analyze logs, troubleshoot routing anomalies, and support incident diagnosis
Coordinate with service providers for circuit-level escalations and performance issues
Monitor and track link availability, interface status, and routing tables
Maintain documentation including network topology diagrams, SOPs, and incident records
Ensure tickets are updated with resolution details and escalated as needed within SLA timelines
