Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in AWS Administration (3 years hands-on preferred)
15 years full-time education (Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field)
Strong knowledge of core AWS services: EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, RDS, EBS
Experience with Linux/Windows server administration in a cloud environment
Familiarity with AWS CLI, CloudFormation/Terraform, and automation scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
Understanding of cloud networking (subnets, routing, NAT, VPN, peering)
Knowledge of security and compliance practices in AWS
Experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, CloudTrail)
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proactive, detail-oriented, and problem-solving mindset

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day operations of AWS infrastructure across multiple environments (Production, Non-Prod, DR)
Create, configure, and maintain EC2 instances, EBS volumes, S3 buckets, VPCs, Security Groups, and IAM roles/policies
Monitor system performance, resource utilization, and cost optimization using CloudWatch, Trusted Advisor, and Compute Optimizer
Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery (DR) strategies
Manage patching, updates, and configuration changes using Systems Manager (SSM) and automation tools
Ensure security compliance through encryption, IAM access reviews, and network hardening
Support deployment pipelines using CodeDeploy, CloudFormation, or Terraform
Troubleshoot system and network issues and provide root cause analysis
Work closely with development and operations teams to improve infrastructure reliability and efficiency
Maintain documentation for configuration, procedures, and best practices
