Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Enterprise Network Operations
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting large enterprise networks
  • Good knowledge and troubleshooting experience of MPLS, BGP, MP-BGP, OSPF, GRE, IP Sec tunnels, QoS, Nexus/Switching concepts
  • Basic knowledge and troubleshooting experience of Firewalls (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet), VPN Technologies
  • Understanding of ITIL framework and processes
  • Working knowledge of Service Now
  • Exposure to Network Management Tools (HP, Splunk etc.)
  • Strong analytical and communication skills (written/oral)
  • Excellent time management skills and strong attention to detail
  • Basic skills in MS Excel / MS PowerPoint
  • Strong understanding of network protocols and technologies (good to have)
  • Knowledge of network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (good to have)
  • Experience in network configuration and optimization (good to have)
  • Ability to analyze and interpret network traffic patterns (good to have)
  • Experience with Network Engineering Planning and Deployment Solution, Network Security Operations (good to have)
  • 15 years full-time education
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Science/Computer Science/Electronics or relevant field
  • CCNA/CCNP certification (advantage)

Responsibilities

  • Handle 24/7 Network Operations as per shift timings, including weekend support
  • Take ownership of incidents assigned to the queue in Service Now
  • Perform Level 1 troubleshooting and update tickets in a timely manner
  • Pass on tickets/incident details to the next level of escalation within SLA
  • Develop and provide trend data and analysis on various reporting within the team
  • Participate in client and service management reporting as required
  • Perform independently and become a Subject Matter Expert (SME)
  • Actively participate/contribute in team discussions
  • Contribute to providing solutions to work-related problems
  • Proactively identify and resolve application issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for support processes
  • Implement and monitor application performance metrics
  • Assist in the deployment and configuration of enterprise network solutions
