Requirements

MSc/MTech in Biological Sciences / Chem Eng / Biotechnology / Environmental Sciences
At least 5-8 years of extensive Technical/Laboratory/Applications experience at Life sciences vendor companies or Life Sciences Industry
Strong conceptual and practical knowledge on Automation, Genomics, Cell Based Assays; aware of the competition and differentiating factors
Adept in understanding and presenting complex workflows involving products such as centrifuges and liquid handling systems
Strong problem-solving skills with a proven track record of delivering judgment based on analysis of multiple sources of information
Strong cultural difference awareness to understand what works within and across countries
Strong interpersonal skills, able to work independently with minimal guidance and provide extended support as a resource for colleagues
Self-motivated

Responsibilities

Develop sales of Automation products in the region, reporting to the Application Manager, India, SWA & SEA
Build and maintain relationships with key customers, industry influencers, and stakeholders in Automation, Genomics, Cell Based assays; understand needs, gather market insights, conduct customer interviews, surveys, and focus groups
Provide sales support by conducting product training, assisting with customer presentations/demos for Genomics, Cell Based assays, and Automation products
Participate in pre-sales activities with the sales team to give technical presentations for Automation and Genomics products
Develop strategic plans to penetrate new markets and drive business growth, including setting objectives, defining market entry strategies, identifying key success factors, and go-to-market strategies
Provide technical support and troubleshooting to customers using Automation, Genomics, and Cell Based Applications; analyze and resolve issues, conduct root cause analysis, collaborate with development team
Conduct training sessions and workshops for customers on Cell Based Assays, Genomics, and Automation applications; create training materials, deliver presentations, provide ongoing support
Follow regular cadence of processes and maintain rigor in reporting
