Requirements
Candidates should possess 5+ years of experience in Android mobile development using Kotlin, along with a solid understanding of Jetpack Compose. Experience with test automation frameworks such as Espresso and/or Composer UI Automation for Android is required, as well as familiarity with mobile CI/CD best practices and device farms or cloud testing platforms like Firebase Test Lab or AWS Device Farm. Knowledge of security and performance testing practices is also necessary.
Responsibilities
As an Android Automation Lead, you will be responsible for leading the test automation strategy and implementation across a large team, including hands-on technical work such as writing code and designing technical solutions, mentoring team members, and guiding quality initiatives to success. You will also define processes and guidelines for robust test coverage, collaborate with Engineering, Product, and QA teams to integrate automation, and stay current with industry trends to keep the approach efficient and innovative.
