Position Overview

Zoom's Business Applications organization is seeking an Anaplan Engineer to drive enterprise planning automation and optimization across Sales, HR, and Finance business functions. This role will be instrumental in the design and implementation of scalable Anaplan models supporting connected planning and forecasting processes.

About the Team

The ideal candidate is a hands-on Anaplan expert with a strong background in enterprise planning, data modeling, and cross-functional collaboration. This candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to translate strategic objectives into impactful Anaplan solutions. Strong project management skills, comfort in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment, and excellent financial modeling, communication, and analytical skills are key to success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, build, and deployment of Anaplan models to support Sales, HR, and Finance planning processes.
• Architect scalable, flexible, and high-performance Anaplan solutions that align with business objectives.
• Ensure seamless data integration between Anaplan and other enterprise systems (e.g., CRM, HR, ERP, BI tools etc.).
• Develop automation and optimization strategies to improve efficiency in forecasting, budgeting, workforce planning, and sales performance management.
• Collaborate with business leaders and process owners to gather requirements and translate them into effective Anaplan models following best modeling practices.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process automation and predictive analytics within Anaplan.
• Stay updated on emerging Anaplan features and industry trends to enhance planning capabilities.

Requirements

• 7 - 10 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• 4+ years of Anaplan experience, with expertise in model building, architecture, and optimization.
• Proven experience in supporting Sales, HR, or Finance planning processes.
• Strong understanding of multi-dimensional data modeling, business planning, and forecasting principles.
• Experience in ETL tools, data integration (e.g., Anaplan Hyperconnect, APIs, Mulesoft, Snowflake, or similar).
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Delivery capabilities following Agile delivery methodologies.
• Mandatory: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, or Economics.
• Mandatory: Anaplan Certified Model Builder (or higher) certification.
