Requirements

  • Minimum of five years’ experience (Account Director / Senior Account Director equivalent)
  • Background in both primary (proprietary research and analytics) and secondary data (desktop, ChatGPT, research, personal observations)
  • Experience in advertising, media, PR or similar agency environment, familiar with creative comms industry
  • Expertise as gatekeeper of data tools including Brandwatch, Cision, Meltwater, Morning Consult, Muck Rack, NewsWhip, Profound GEO, Signal AI, Spike, and Talkwalker
  • Ability to prioritise and manage expectations from various stakeholders
  • Naturally curious, resourceful, tenacious, and ambitious
  • Ability to build strong, productive, and meaningful relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Team builder and player, able to work in and proactively contribute to multiple small teams
  • Good mentor and manager of junior colleagues
  • Able to see beyond data to insights that create strategic narratives for client responses and new business
  • Commercially aware, ensuring billing targets and managing measurement tools budget
  • Comfortable presenting and interacting with clients and in pitches
  • Able to keep up to date on measurement developments in the comms industry and suggest changes

Responsibilities

  • Work 50/50 on existing clients and new business, delivering counsel and overseeing implementation across business functions
  • Link with Global Intelligence team to assess products/services for Zeno London integration
  • Oversee all current Data & Analytics work to ensure best-in-class service
  • Maximise abilities of data tools for measurement and analytics in existing clients and new business development
  • Monitor market developments in analytic tools and determine tech stack budget allocation
  • Manage research and analytics budget to identify new/improved measurement, research, and monitoring methods
  • Manage supplier relationships and liaise with Zeno and DJE (parent company) colleagues for network efficiencies
  • Line manage and assist in career development of junior colleagues
  • Educate and train colleagues on analytics offerings and analytical tools usage
  • Lead development and implementation of efficient and effective client reporting for projects/campaigns
  • Analyse previous campaign reports and incorporate learnings into subsequent campaigns
  • Serve as research go-to resource and educator for building colleague competence in analytics
